Citizens Advice Oxford has produced a report that analyses the cost of living issues for which Oxford residents have sought help from Citizens Advice.

Although inflation has fallen, prices continue to rise and the cost of living crisis continues to affect Oxford residents. Fuel Debts and Rent/ Council Tax arrears are rising and people are forgoing heating to make up other payments. As the crisis continues, people have to make more and more difficult decisions about their finances.

The key insights from this report show that March 2023 saw the highest number of people with cost of living-related issues on record, Food Banks and charitable support issues have been the areas of particularly large growth, and all demographic groups are affected, with single adults and working-age adults in particular seeking advice on cost of living issues.
