As a charity, Citizens Advice Oxford welcomes the support of Oxford City Council and its other sponsors.
However, to ensure that we can continue to support as many people as possible in the City of Oxford, we also rely on fundraising initiatives and donations. (Despite the image many people have of Oxford, there is significant hardship in some areas of the City, with 16% of children in Oxford living in poverty compared with 17% across England as a whole.1)
Fundraising
If you have an idea for a fundraising event, and would like to raise funds to support us, let us know. Perhaps you’ve always fancied taking part in the Oxford Half Marathon on Sunday 16th October? Or Bake-Off has inspired you to get out the cake tins and host a coffee morning. Maybe you have a birthday coming up and you’d like to ask your friends to donate instead of giving you birthday gifts?
If you need fundraising ideas or tips and support, please contact us.
